Yes. You're led by licensed river guides with years of experience, with a mandatory safety briefing before you launch and full protective kit (life jacket, helmet, wetsuit). The Tara has stretches for every level, and we match the route to your group.
You don't need to be a swimmer. Everyone on the water wears a life jacket, and your guide stays with you and calls the shots. Follow the instructions — we handle the rest.
Yes, with a parent or guardian. For younger kids we pick calmer stretches of river. We agree the lower age limit when you book, depending on water levels and the date.
A swimsuit, towel and spare clothes, shoes that can get wet (strappy sandals or old sneakers), sunscreen and good spirits. We provide the wetsuit, life jacket and helmet.
The run with a licensed guide and full kit are always included. Multi-day packages also cover stay and meals (full board). Exact inclusions are listed on each tour page.
Season runs from May to October. Water is highest in spring (more adrenaline); in summer it's calmer and warmer — ideal for families and first-timers.
The run itself takes a few hours, with a break for rest and lunch. With kit-up, transfer to the put-in and return to camp, it's a full-day outing.
Weekends are usually busier. If you want a quieter slot and fewer boats on the water, we recommend weekdays. Departures are timed around groups and water levels.
We offer luxury bungalows with private bathrooms and a spacious auto camp right on the bank. There's a restaurant with home cooking and shared spaces to hang out.
Yes — dogs are welcome at camp. Please mention it when you book so we can place you in the right stay.
