Camp Konak sits in Hum, near Foča — right at the confluence of the Tara and Piva rivers, where they join to form the Drina. About 20 km from Foča and just 2 km from the confluence itself.
We're on the border of Bosnia & Herzegovina and Montenegro, in the village of Hum near Šćepan Polje. This is the starting point for Tara rafting and an ideal base for day trips to Sutjeska NP, Durmitor and Lake Piva.

Payment at the camp is cash only — we don't accept cards. Foča is the last town on the route with banks and ATMs, so withdraw what you need there. After Foča, there's nowhere to get cash before the camp.
Foča is the last major stop before the canyon. Fuel stations, shops and a pharmacy are all here. Through the canyon to the camp there's nothing — just the river and the cliffs.
The last twenty-odd kilometres run alongside the river through the canyon. The road is narrow and twisty — not one for rushing, but beautiful in its own right. Allow a bit more time than your sat-nav suggests.
Mobile signal can disappear in the canyon. If you think you're lost or running late, call us before you enter the canyon. Download your map offline just in case.
