Rafting FAQ

Everything you need to know.

Which tour is best for first-timers?

The one-day trip is perfect for a first taste of the Tara — plenty of excitement without committing to an overnight. If you want the full experience, the three-day package is our most popular.

Do I need to know how to swim?

Not at all. Everyone wears a life jacket and helmet, and the river guide steers the raft. Just don't be afraid of the water and follow the guide's instructions.

What's included in the price?

Kit, licensed guide, transfer to the put-in, meal(s), insurance and permits. Multi-day packages also include accommodation and full board.

How does weekend pricing work?

Saturday and Sunday count as weekend for all tours; Friday counts as weekend for multi-day packages only. The price adjusts automatically to the date you pick when booking.

Can children go rafting?

Yes. Children under 6 go free; ages 6–12 pay half price. For younger kids we pick calmer stretches of river.
