The entire navigable length of the Tara — seventy-six kilometres, from Đurđevića bridge to Hum. Caves, waterfalls, and one night at the deepest point of the canyon, far from everything.
This is an expedition, not a day trip. We cover the entire navigable stretch of the Tara, through Europe's deepest canyon — one thousand three hundred metres of rock above your head. We drive to the put-in via the Durmitor Ring Road, one of the most beautiful roads in the Balkans and worth the journey in itself. And one night we sleep where the canyon is deepest, in a small inn by the river — far from any road, far from signal, under the stars.
This stretch of the Tara hosted the 2009 Rafting World Championship.
Welcome with rakija (homemade brandy), check-in to a lux bungalow, an evening at camp with a home-cooked dinner. Getting ready for what lies ahead.
After breakfast we set off on the Durmitor Ring Road — a route that climbs over the mountain and opens views you don't forget. We reach the point where the Tara becomes navigable and launch the rafts. First day on the water: caves, waterfalls, untouched wilderness. We sleep at the inn at the deepest point of the canyon.
We continue downstream through the deepest part of the canyon. The river changes face from hour to hour — calm pools, then rapids, then waterfalls dropping straight into the water. Back at camp, dinner and rest.
Breakfast at camp and a quiet morning before the drive home.
We spend the night in the canyon at a small inn at the deepest point of the Tara — clean, well-kept and full of character. Meals are buffet style. This is a place you can almost only reach by river.
Breakfasts and dinners at camp — homemade burek, fried dough rolls, homemade kajmak, grilled meat from local farms, veal under the sač. In the canyon, at the inn, meals are buffet style. Every meal is included in the price.
Every package can be adjusted and combined — rafting, canyoning, day trips and extra days by arrangement.
