Rafting is why most people come. But when you stay a few days, the river turns out to be only the beginning — everything around it is worth just as much.
Canyoning — Nevidio and Hrčavka
Two canyons, two completely different days.
Hrčavka sits in Sutjeska National Park near Tjentište — gentler, pure enjoyment. Waterfalls, deep pools, natural slides. If this is your first canyon, start here. Fit teenagers from fourteen up can join.
Nevidio is another story. The Komarnica canyon under Durmitor — the last canyon conquered in Europe. Narrow passages, jumps of up to eight metres, swimming through ice-cold water. This one is for fit adventurers, and you don't enter without a licensed guide.
Horseback riding above Europe's deepest canyon
This is the activity guests don't expect — which is why it surprises them most. You ride up on the rim of the Tara's deepest canyon, with 1,300 metres of gorge beneath you. Looking down on the river you ran yesterday is something else entirely.
We arrange it on request — get in touch and we'll sort the details.
Sutjeska National Park
Perućica primeval forest, Lake Trnovačko, Maglić. A full-day trip from camp for guests on a multi-day package. More detail in a separate article.
Durmitor and Lake Piva
The Durmitor Ring is one of the most beautiful roads in the Balkans — and we drive it every year on the way to the four-day tour put-in. Lake Piva is on the route: turquoise, quiet, water that looks painted.
How to combine it all
Easiest through a multi-day package. Rafting is the spine; everything else grafts on — a day on the water, a day in the canyon, a day in the mountains. Tell us how many days you have and what pulls you, and we'll build it.
